The Naomi Foundation
The Naomi Foundation was established in 2010 to preserve the legacy of Naomi Prawer Kadar, Ph.D. Naomi was a deeply humble woman, unaware of her personal impact. As a master educator, her life, professional and personal, scholarly and familial, was itself a beautiful form of social engagement.
The Naomi Foundation is devoted to supporting Jewish culture, Jewish educational growth, and Yiddish-language learning; to training the next generation of teachers in all fields and to inspiring youth and learners of all ages; and to exploring medical advances specifically in the field of oncology.
Naomi embodied the Jewish concept of tikkun olam, repairing the world. The Naomi Foundation strives to pursue her passionate proclamations of family and community values, her love of teaching, and her love of learning.
